Mid North Coast Councils save on energy bills and emissions

The Mid North Coast Joint Organisation is excited to announce that its member councils Bellingen & Port Macquarie Hastings, have secured a long-term, fixed price electricity supply agreement coordinated by the MNCJO and HunterJO. There are eleven other regional councils in the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) buyers' group.

Local Government Award for MNCJO

Successful Disaster Risk Reduction Funding

Developing a Regional Blueprint which will reduce and limit the impact of disasters associated with natural hazards, will be the main outcome of funding received by the Mid North Coast Joint Organisation (MNCJO) through the Disaster Risk Reduction Fund (DRRF).

Towards Net Zero

We've been successful in our bid for capacity building funding under the NSW government’s Joint Organisation Net Zero Acceleration (JONZA) Grant. The JO received $155,000 to employ a staff member who is dedicated to progressing the JO and member councils towards net zero.
